George Kittle joined comedian Kevin Hart on his LOL Network show, Cold as Balls (h/t TheSFNiners). The San Francisco 49ers tight end discussed football, his desire to win a Super Bowl, his love of Harry Potter, his cosplay of choice if he went to San Diego Comic-Con, and more while submerged in an ice bath.
Kittle also revealed his desire for the NFL to add a second bye week for NFL teams.
“Seventeen games is a lot,” Kittle told Hart. “It’s a lot of games with one bye, whether it’s Week 4 or the bye is Week 11. I’m advocating for two byes. If you can get that to happen, that would be cool.”
Hart assured the tight end that it was a done deal. Kittle also cleverly avoided any quarterback discussion.

Two 49ers stars in top-3 of Bucky Brooks’ 2019 draft ranking
NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks went back a few years and created a list of the top 15 players from the loaded 2019 NFL Draft class. The San Francisco 49ers were well represented. Brooks states that he is “blown away” by the talent and depth of that group of players. “This group features a collection of pass rushers, pass catchers, and playmakers who have made their mark on the league in swift fashion,” Brooks wrote. Pass rushers, pass catchers, and playmakers—San Francisco found players that fall into each category. Sitting at No. 2 on his list, right behind Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, is 49ers defensive end

Daniel Jeremiah on Trey Lance, 49ers’ future: “He can take that group to another level”
There is no doubt that Trey Lance is a big question mark on the San Francisco 49ers roster for the upcoming season. We’ve only seen two starts from last year’s No. 3 overall pick and just 71 pass attempts. Still, even if there are growing pains in his second NFL season, there is enough talent around the 22-year-old quarterback to win. NFL Media analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks recently held a fantasy draft. It didn’t involve players, though—at least, not individually. The two alternated selecting the teams that they feel are most likely to win the most Super Bowls over the next five years. Brooks selected the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams with the No. 1 jumpsuit pick. Jeremiah followed that up by choosing the Los Angeles Chargers at

Mike Singletary, Harry Carson endorse 49ers’ Roger Craig for Hall of Fame
Say this with me—Roger Craig is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame! This has been written, spoken, and shouted from rooftops. It has been uttered by fans, media members, broadcasters, and teammates, including some legendary players with the San Francisco 49ers. Recently, I wrote a story that made the case for Roger Craig to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The case for Craig included compelling facts compiled by Larry Krueger, formerly of

49ers’ Fred Warner on Trey Lance: “He has everything you’d want in a franchise quarterback”
With Jimmy Garoppolo recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, second-year quarterback Trey Lance has gotten the bulk of the practice reps during organized team activities (OTAs). Not that he wouldn’t have even if Garoppolo were healthy. Lance should be the 49ers’ Week 1 starter. The 49ers invested heavily in the young quarterback, trading a haul of draft capital to move up to the No. 3 overall pick last year to select him. San Francisco has tried to trade Garoppolo. However, his surgery held any discussions with other teams. The narrative between the national and local media has been vastly different. There has been talk of doubt in Lance among the national press, while local reporters haven’t pushed that narrative. Lance’s teammates have
