See how ex-Michigan Wolverines are faring in MLB, minors in 2022

Summer is here, meaning the MLB and minor league seasons are well underway.

Two former Michigan Wolverines are currently on major-league rosters, while more than a dozen are in the minors with their sights set on one day reaching the big leagues.

Below is a list of every ex-Wolverine in professional baseball and how they have fared in 2022. Many of them played under Erik Bakich, who reportedly has accepted the head coaching position at Clemson after a 10-year stint in Ann Arbor. Under Bakich, Michigan had at least two players selected in each draft, including a program-record 11 in 2017.

In the previous three drafts, the Wolverines had eight players selected in the first five rounds, many of whom were instrumental in helping the team reach the College World Series final in 2019.
